Predator Oil & Gas - more cans of worms vicar?

An insider dealing director, directors who troll journalists on twitter or who threaten critics, these are never good signs. But worse is the determination of Predator Oil & Gas (PRD) to avoid issuing a prospectus when issuing shares. For the second time it has found a loophole to dodge making disclosures. Just what is the company hiding?

Alien Metals – More fun and games with Windfield: which dozy feck of a Nomad let this through at this MINUS 99.44% dog?

The other day I suggested that AIM needed to introduce a Lenigas law whereby if a known associate of a company director sold his asset to that company he needed to declare how much he paid for it. Lenigas has punted on 2 assets on an undisclosed mark up to his pal Richard Poulden at Wishbone Gold (WSBN) where, for reasons I find it increasingly hard to justify, I am a shareholder. But Alien Metals (UFO) is another can of worms. And guess which penny share huckster pushes this one.?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - so I am going to buy some more shares

I shall explain why and what tomorrow. But I eat my own pudding in that I believe the recent sell off in small caps offers opportunity. But for some companies, notably those with funding issues it could be very bad news. I discuss Supply@ME Capital (SYME), its director Mr Bull and its mother of all death spirals, Remote Monitored Systems (RMS) where the cash, its only asset of value,  is disappearing fast and Versarien (VRSwhere I urge you to back Ian Westbrook TODAY as its 2 death spirals really start to bite. I also comment on Predator Oil & Gas (PRD) which looks to be a can of worms and Loop Up (LOOP) where maybe I am just a bit dim but isn’t it pointless?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Woodford and another £10m down the Proton Partners pan - a new valuation scandal

Today’s Bearcast is late and I did no training walk as I feel a touch under the weather. On Thursday I quizzed Neil Woodford about Proton Partners International (PPI) and he bull-shitted for England. On Friday he chucked another £10 million of other folks cash down the Proton pan which opens up a whole new can of worms in terms of valuations which I discuss in detail. Neil has yet to donate for Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks despite my polite AGM request and 70% of bearcast listeners have not chipped in either. Please rectify that HERE

SHOCKER: AfriAg plc – Er…about that investment in AfriAg PTY Ltd?

Lots of questions are being asked about AIM-listed AfriAg plc (AFRI) at the moment, notably HERE. A few more arise out of the company’s Annual Report for 2013 which lead back to the acquisition of 40% of the South African entity called AfriAg (Pty) Limited. We’ll call that AfriAg SA. It seems to open something of a can of worms, as shall become clear in what follows.

Life as CFO in a failing company like Quindell: someone who has been there explains

What is it like being Laurence Moorse, the FD at Quindell (QPP) as it goes down the swanny. I asked a gentleman now FD of a successful AIM listed company but who in a former life was parachuted into a quoted entity that he pretty soon realized was a can of worms, to explain. The experience still haunts him. His recollection will give you some idea of what life is like in Fareham right now.

What would my life be like? In a word, Shit! Actually 3 words. Unbelievably fucking shit. What would I be doing with my time? Simple, I would be focused on 2 areas (broadly defined and mutually overlapping) but here goes:

The Day Job
